You know that corner of the room where you just kinda dump stuff? That picture frame you keep meaning to hang up. That t-shirt you won at an intramural sports tournament. The set of hex-wrenches you pulled out of the toolbox weeks ago with the intention of tightening that chair leg that’s a bit wobbly. Another reusable grocery bag that you bought because you forgot to bring the ones you already had. It grows. Day by day, week by week. Neglected, but ever-looming. Somehow staying out of sight and out of mind until it has grown to encompass all but the other far corner of the room.
